Services provided to farmers by CIFRI, Guwahati:

- CIFRI, Guwahati provides training to fishers/ farmers for human resource development, technical support to farmers, advisory services, lab exposure, scientific documents for fisheries development, need based water testing, feed testing, disease diagnosis etc.

Training facilities for the farmers:

- Training hall (70 seat capacity), Labs, Conference hall, Training hostel (40 capacity), Guest rooms, Experts in various field of fisheries and aquaculture. CIFRI has all the facilities available for conducting online training programs.

Technical support and consultancy facilities for the farmers:

- CIFRI provides technical support to fish farmers through field visits as well as through other modes of communication. CIFRI provides consultancy services for beel fisheries development, environmental flow in rivers, fish pass, impact of exotic species etc.

Soil and water quality parameter testing laboratory available for the farmer:
